Why not push yourself to your limits and take part in our Zip Line Challenge in Penrhyn Quarry, north Wales? Join the Hywel Dda Health Charities team for a truly unique and exhilarating experience which also benefits your local NHS!

 

What is the Zip Line Challenge?

Partnering with Zip World we have 20 spaces for individuals to take flight on the fastest zip line in the world: Velocity. You’ll soar over Penrhyn Quarry travelling at speeds of up to 100mph while taking in unbeatable views of Snowdonia.

Velocity will take you zooming down a 1.5-kilometre zip line, providing you with up to two hours of incredible adventure. With four parallel lines over two separate zip lines, Velocity allows you to enjoy the experience alongside your family and friends. Sponsorship:

We ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship for our charity. Please note than entrants can choose to support a specific hospital, ward, service or department OR you can choose to fundraise for general charitable purposes. Fundraising for general charity purposes means that your funds will be spent where and when they are needed the most.

 

Velocity restrictions:

Weight: Min 30kg, Max 120kg

Height: Min 120cm (4ft), Max 210cm (7ft)

Age: Min 18yrs

Our limited places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis so click here to pay your non-refundable £25 registration fee.

Once you have paid your registration fee, please fill in the online booking form here.   

You will receive an email confirming your place once the booking form is complete and we will also provide you with some support to help you raise funds for your local NHS charity.
