Nursery children dressed in pink to raise funds for breast care unit

Sharon James, Owner of Cae'r Ffair Nursery, said: “We decided to raise the funds for the Breast Care Unit as I had breast cancer two years ago. It was a thank you and recognition to the amazing staff at the Breast Care Unit at Prince Phillip Hospital.
“The staff at the unit were very supportive and gave excellent care to me during a very difficult time, so we as a team wanted to help by involving the children, parents and staff at the nursery to raise money.
"We can’t thank the staff enough for their amazing work during a very difficult time. We would like to thank our amazing parents for their kind generosity by donating £313.50 on the day.”
Nicola Llewellyn, Head of Hywel Dda Health Charities, said: “Thank you to Sharon and the staff, children and their families from Cae'r Ffair Nursery for their kind donation.
“The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive.”
