In Memory giving

A Hywel Dda Health Charities tribute fund is an online memorial that you can create and personalise in memory of a loved one; it is a place for you to remember and celebrate the life of someone who is special to you. You can set up your tribute fund at www.muchloved.com (opens in new tab)

Setting up an online memorial allows you to create a personal tribute to your loved one and share photos, videos and stories while raising valuable funds for a charity close to your heart.

Many families chose to share details of their ‘In Memory’ page with friends and family via social media, obituary notices and in the order of service at the funeral.

Donations made in this way will contribute to a lasting tribute to your loved one which allows us to invest in our local healthcare services.

Funeral collections

If you would prefer to organise a more traditional funeral collection, you many arrange with your chosen funeral director to request that donations are made to Hywel Dda Health Charities instead of giving flowers. We can provide donation envelopes which allow us to collect Gift Aid, which increases the value of donations by UK tax payers by 25% at no additional cost to the donor. The funeral directors can deal with this on your behalf and ensure that all donations are sent direct to the charity. To effectively collate all receipts, they usually allow between four to six weeks before forwarding these donations to us.
