Are you ready to challenge yourself like never before?
Join us on Saturday 25th October 2025 at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen for the Hywel Dda Fire Walk – a thrilling experience where you’ll walk barefoot across five metres of 800°C burning embers. It’s safe, unforgettable, and deeply empowering.
Whether you're an individual looking for a personal challenge or a team seeking a bonding experience, this event is for you.
There is an entry fee of £15 and we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £85 for the charity. You can choose to raise funds for a specific ward, hospital or service within Hywel Dda University Health Board or you can fundraise for general charitable purposes.
All funds raised will go towards enhancing the experiences of patients, their families and NHS staff and funding items and activities which are beyond standard NHS provision.
Ideally the walkers should be over the age of 11 years old. Under-18s must be mature enough to listen to the training and will require a parent or guardian to sign a permission form.
Our limited places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To enter please follow the steps below:
Each entrant receives a Hywel Dda Health Charities water bottle prior to the event plus support with your fundraising.
After event completion, each entrant will be sent a certificate.
