South Pembrokeshire Hospital's Healthcare Support Worker will take on new adventure for charity

A Community Health Care Support Worker has decided, at the age of 63, that it’s time for a new challenge.

Mandy Doble, who works for the Community Clinics at South Pembrokeshire Hospital, will take on a skydiving challenge in Swansea on 18th April, all in the name of charity.

Mandy will raise money for Hywel Dda Health Charities, the official charity of Hywel Dda University Health Board, supporting the Community Clinics.

She said: “At 63, I’ve decided it’s time for a real adventure!

“The funds raised will go towards improving patient care, comfort and experience for the people who rely on our services every day. The challenge is huge for me – exciting and a bit scary but absolutely worth it if it helps make a difference to our patients.”

Mandy added: “If you’d like to support me, I’d be so grateful. Together, we can help improve care for our community. Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement!”

Katie Hancock, Fundraising Officer for Hywel Dda Health Charities, said: “Mandy is an incredible fundraiser and a dedicated supporter of Hywel Dda Health Charities. Last year, she bravely took on the Zip Line Challenge, and this year she’s going even bigger by completing a skydive to raise vital funds for her service.

“We cannot thank her enough for her amazing commitment. If you’re able to, please get behind Mandy and show your support. Mandy, we hope you have an unforgettable experience.”
