A Pembrokeshire community has raised a huge £4,000 for Hywel Dda services, through a county show.
The Camrose Vintage Working Day is held each year in the village of Camrose, Pembrokeshire. This year’s event saw vintage tractor displays, classic cars and more – all in aid of local charities and organisations.
Money from the fundraiser – which took place on Saturday 23rd August 2025 – was donated to the Chemo Day Unit, Ward 11 and Respiratory Team at Withybush Hospital as well as the Heads Up! Hair Loss Initiative. All were given £1,000.
Liliana Guta, Senior Sister at Withybush Hospital’s Chemo Day Unit, said:
“It is very kind of the Camrose Vintage Working Day team to donate again such a significant amount of money! We can’t thank you enough.”
Andrew James, Chairman of Camrose Vintage Working Day added:
“Our 38th Camrose Vintage Working Day donated a record-breaking £32,000 to 32 local charities. We are so pleased to support the Chemo Day Unit, Ward 11 and Respiratory Team at Withybush Hospital and the Heads Up! Hair Loss Initiative causes which are close to our hearts.
“Thank you to everyone who helps and supports our event. We are now looking forward to our 39th Camrose Vintage Working Day which will take place on Saturday 20th August 2026.”
