Fundraiser to take on skydive in memory of her father

Ellie Shaw-Jones is braving a charity skydive to raise funds for the Chemotherapy Day Unit and Ty Bryngwyn Hospice at Prince Philip Hospital.
Ellie is taking on the skydive on 26th July 2024 in memory of her father, Terry John Jones, who was a porter at Prince Philip Hospital for over 40 years.
Ellie said: “My wonderful Dad, Terry Jones (Skin), sadly lost his courageous battle with cancer on the 16th April 2022. Daddy worked as a porter in the old Llanelli General and then Prince Philip Hospital for 40 years but sadly had to finish when he was given his devastating diagnosis.
“Nothing will bring Daddy back, but I would like to give something back to the wonderful people who took amazing care of him.
“I would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me, no matter how small your donation, whilst I take on this scary challenge.”
