Menter y Mynydd organised a fundraising event and raised £2,500 for the Breast Care Unit at Prince Philip Hospital.
Menter y Mynydd is a group from Mynydd y Garreg who have organised Welsh events in the village, including an Eisteddfod, for over 30 years.
“We fundraised for the Breast Care Unit at Prince Philip Hospital to thank the service for the care and special treatment I have received since 2024.
“Thanks to family, friends and local businesses for their help and generous donations towards the evening. And thank you to the Mynydd y Garreg Hall Committee and Castell Howell for donating the food.”
Nicola Llewelyn, Head of Hywel Dda Health Charities, the official charity of Hywel Dda University Health Board, said: “Thank you to Menter y Mynydd for organising such a lovely event to raise funds for the Breast Care Unit at Prince Philip Hospital.
“The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive.”
Your donations are making a positive difference to the health, wellbeing and experience of NHS patients, service users and staff.
