Local auctioneers raise over £12,000 for NHS charity
Huw Evans Auctioneers is a local livestock auctioneering business based at Llandeilo mart. The auction and raffle took place in March at the mart.
Huw Evans said: “It was very rewarding seeing the market full, bringing the community together to raise funds.”
Jessica Michael, Senior Sister said: “On behalf of the staff and patients at the Chemotherapy Day Unit at Glangwili Hospital, I would like to thank you for your fundraising efforts resulting in a very generous donation of £12,600.
“We are always looking at ways to improve the environment and improve the way we care for patients within the Chemotherapy Day Unit. Please be assured that this money will go towards this improvement. Thank you!”
